Art Pottery Madonna Bottle Help
Question:
Dear Forum, I am looking for information about an Art Pottery Bottle by AnTonisa. The bottle is well marked but I have not been able to find any information regarding about this piece. The bottle is marked on the front between the feet with A. Guerrero and on the back with AnTonisa; the T being in the form of a cross, followed by a circled C then USA. The bottle measures 13-1/8" tall, 8" across at widest and approximately 2-1/2" to 3-1/2" thick. Several people who have seen the bottle believe the face decoration is a Madonna. Thank you. Sincerely, blake77 Answer: It looks like a Mexican pottery piece to me. Answer: Dear low-tide, The bottle does have a South American style to it but the AnTonisa USA mark would seem to mean it has to have been made in the US. I've also had people say it looks like something al la Picasso. Yours, Blake Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
