Another Mystery; Art Deco Black Vase ID
Question:
Dear Forum,
Here is another mystery vase. The basic shape is fairly common except that the tab handles are two tiered and the vase looks as if it were hand hammered metal instead of pottery. The glaze is a gloss black and the base has an exposed clay ring that is a buff white with some grayness from age. The weight and feel lead me to believe the vase was made in the US. The vase measures 4-3/4" tall and 6-1/2" in diameter at widest and is unmarked.
Here are some pics:

Thank you for you ideas and help.

Answer:
I have seen that vase somewhere. Darned if I can remember, though.
Answer:
Haven't got a clue as to identification, but I'd call the style craftsman or arts and crafts rather than art deco.
