Arequipa Pottery identified...
Question:
I have a small vase/bowl marked Arequipa California. It is sort of blue/gray with green vines painted around the rim. The mark reads as follows "Arequipa California 1912 572" and a small triangle and tree. It is also incised with the number "572". Nice shape looks like a seed pot or something. Measures 5 1/2" at the widest point and 2 1/2" high. I have included pictures of the item and mark and I am pretty sure that it is legit. I just cannot find anything on pricing. Is this stuff that rare. I read up on the pottery in California and found it all very interesting. I just wish I had some idea of value. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
