Question:
Many thanks for helping me identify the maker of this pair of vases. Probably 19th c European/German but there are no obvious marks on the bottom nor inside the upper edges. I'll try to research on my own but I could use some direction. They measure about 18 inches high. (The other vase in the pair has a similar image of a figure from Greek antiquity perhaps dancing.) I can't tell if the images are hand painted. On each side of the vases near the handle are lovely unpainted glazed carved/molded porcelain of a woman's head.
This belongs to a family member and I am trying to help out.
