This tureen is marked California USA 373-372. Can anyone ID it or give me an ideal if it is sellable?

I looked in my Collector's Encyclopedia of California Pottery, 2nd Ed., book, but it wasn't there and neither was the mark.

Too bad (for we sellers) that all those potteries in California didn't mark their products better. Most people just list it as California Pottery with no mention of which pottery made the item.

It's really a pretty tureen that (to me) has a majolica look about it.

Oh man! There's no way I'd pack this sucker for a mere $10, it's heavy! Thanks for the info. Even with better pics I doubt it will sell for much. Heavy sigh. I never do well buying breakables.
