AMRO inscribed in the base. Any help would be appreciated.

There's one pattern / line of Gouda (dutch) pottery which is called AMRO sometime they scratch patterns and numbers into the bottoms. A picture would be helpful. Is that all it says??

I attached an image I scanned from a photograph.
My guess is that it was created by an amateur, possibly a college student.

Either amateur, or very expensive studio. I find it hard to tell the two apart sometimes...
