Question:
http://www.kingantiquesandcollectibl...er_plates1.JPG http://www.kingantiquesandcollectibl...er_plates2.JPG They are 6 inch saucers, unmarked, yellow band with silver trim. Answer: Has a 'Quimper' look to it, but I don't think it is. Your pieces have more of an American Folk Art (possibly Pennsylvanian Dutch???) look to them. Not sure if this is any help but at least it will bump the thread for the time being until someone more knowlegeable comes along. Answer: Looks like me and my ex but I don't remember posing for them http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif Sorry, can't help but I can give you a little bump. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ *"It is well to remember that the entire universe, with one trifling exception, is composed of others." (John Andrew Holmes) Deals for everyone http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif Answer: Connie, it does have a sort of Quimper meets American Gothic look. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_smile.gif Fullhouse: Thanks for the laugh. No wonder you are ex's if it looks like the two of you. They don't look very happy at all. Answer: The decal looks identical to Homer Laughlin's American Provincial, a Pennsylvania Dutch design. The book I have shows it with a floral border, but maybe they used the decal on more than one blank. Answer: boystuition: You were a great help! I think it is the American Provincial pattern on a HL Cavalier blank. It is the Cavalier blank that is usually associated with the Autumn Gold design.
