My Kovel's book of marks is no help on this one. Here's the mark (same as the thumbnail below):

I've found the pattern number on Replacements but I need a date range for that particular mark. No Bavaria, just Selb Germany, would that mean pre WWI? Thanks.

I found this on a discussion board-but they didn't show a mark(pic was gone)
Rosenthal Selb Germany - 1949-1954.

The only info I could find on that mark gives the same years as cariad found. There is a picture of the mark, same as yours.
It's on a piece for sale here. Scroll down to where it says Herzog Galleries Houston.
