Help with Cookie Jar
Question:
I have a cookie jar I got a few years ago, and now I want to find out more about it. I can't find it in my cookie jar books, so thought maybe someone could help me here with more information. Here are a few pictures of it. Can't find a name anywere, but the Roper Room and the number on the bottom of it. Thanks for any help group, and have a great day! Answer: Here's a couple of examples of your Romper Room cookie jar here: http://www.peterandmark.com/jars01.htm Just scroll down a bit.. I used to love that show. Answer: Do be a Do Bee don't be a Don't Bee.... Answer: I do believe this is the one I have. It does have a tiny ding inside the lid. They are saying there is $395.00 like that. I am so excited even if mine is only worth 1/2 that price. I will know try to do more research on this also. thank you, thank you, thank you. Answer: MichiganAnn, do you have the Cookie Jars, Book 2, by Fred Roerig & Joyce Herndon Roerig? If not, here's what's listed on page 16 of their book (the cookied jar is featured on page 17). Romper Room "DO-BEE, E-2200" stamped on bottom. "Laurel Sales Cleveland, OH. Romper Room © DO-BEE, Made in Japan," on paper label. Snyder. $175-$200. I'm not for sure what "Snyder" means unless the picture was from Charlie Snyder's Cookie Jar collection. Now, don't get disappointed with the book value because my book is a 1994 edition. Just imagine what 10 years can do to the price. Answer: Just imagine what 10 years can do to the price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW There was no Ebay 10 years ago. Books are a must have for identifying pieces but most prices are questionable to say the least. Especially when written by collectors/authors such as Gene Florence, who tend to overvalue the pieces they own. JMONSHO. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
