Has anyone tried the Tide Buzz?
Question:
I would really like to know if this actually works without any damage to the fabric. Seems a little pricey. Tide Buzz Joan Answer: It appears to work on the same principle as what we used at the dry cleaners, just a bit more sophisticated. We would place the garment, stain side down, over a white cloth and on a grate that would pull the garment tight by way of suction. We'd then apply the appropriate chemical for the stain and gently rub it with a special tool called a bone. After that we would spray it with a high powered pinpoint spray of water and/or air while applying more suction from the bottom. We'd repeat this as necessary and the end result was usually a stain-free garment. If you decide to get the Tide Buzz, please do let us know what you think! Answer: Does anyone know what this gadget costs at the retail locations? I don't think I get enough stains around here to make it worth buying. (No kids in residence at this time...) Elaine Answer: I just bought their little battery operated brush and bottle of tide. It was six something at Walmart and it doesn't appear you can replace the batteries I wish I had noticed it at the store. I just got it yesterday and haven't used it yet but, I am a little concerned about how rough it is on fabrics. With two small kids I get more than my fair share of stains. Answer: The cheapest price I found was $49 including shipping from Amazon. After reading all the reviews I could find I decided that it was not for me. I was interested in something that I could use to clean vintage linens, mostly tablecloths, but this is definitely not not it. For now, I'll go back to the sodium perborate soak. I've never used Orvus and I may give it a try, also. Here are the Tide Buzz reviews. Buzz Reviews Joan Answer: I had to chuckle when I saw the thread title. The first thing that jumped into my mind was somebody sniffing Tide to get a buzz! ROFL! Answer: Moonrise, now that I've taken a second look I see what you mean. There goes my clean reputation down the drain (pun intended). Joan Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
