Grace's eBay Treasures SALE!Quail Hill Treasures Answer: Well, I would like to think the opening bid was an error, but I see they haven't corrected it so perhaps not. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...n_confused.gif Answer: well, I sure wouldn't want to pay the listing fee for that one! lol http://community.here.com/infopop/em...s/icon_eek.gif goodworks1 at ebay Get your gift SCRUBBIES and Learn-to-Quilt Kits here! Answer: OH! I didn't even think of that - the listing fee. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...s/icon_eek.gif My Ebay Auctions Answer: I believe the listing fees max out in the $3 range so it didn't cost her that much to list - it would be the FVF's where eBay would make the moolah - should it actually get a bid and sell which I think is highly doubtful - she'd have had better luck if she had made up a story about how it once shed tears of blood or that an apparation of Jesus appears near it every Easter or that a boy dying of leukemia looked at it and was cured or some such tripe - sorry, but didja ever notice how those items get bids and lots of them? I often wonder if the sellers get paid... or if they get bid up by people thinking that since the item description was written by a looney what harm is there in bidding? This lady is absolutely dead serious...and I do commend her for taking the high road on the item description, but I think she has greatly over-estimated the value of the piece. To her, it is priceless, but to eBayer's it has a value and the value isn't $10 grand. If it was, it would have a bid by now - there's been more than 2000 lookers! --K Directions for life: Sew, eBay, Eat, Sleep -- Repeat daily. --Pins-n-Needles Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
