Are you all going 'hahahaha'?
Question:
Over the price on the old material ?? Answer: I wish you hadn't called attention to it.........I have a big snipe planned. Answer: Whew! Even if it doesn't sell I am relieved to hear it is unreasonable. Pricing for OCM hasn't been the easiest thing. It hasn't been my intention to just list what can't sell on eBay but the realistic lack of competitve bidders does increase the odds of any bid being the only one and 'giving' things away out of sheer generousity wasn't in my plans either I'd like to see OCM really succeed but those two things are hurdles that need to be overcome. Answer: Pricing for OCM hasn't been the easiest thing. I edited a couple of my auctions and raised the starting bids because I realized that the opening bids wouldn't pay for my mailing supplies. I'm sure the traffic will increase but it's going to take awhile and in the meantime, I think it's good to have listings like yours that are actually quite valuable. I wouldn't want the OCM to get the reputation of being a cheapie site. Joan Answer: Barb, how big is the red piece? And the blue patterned pieces? Answer: Tina69 Do I have to get MrsJ after you with a switch?? Piece on the bed is 62x82 Blue piece at the top runs from 18' to 25' wide x 66" long with the side blocks 12 x 14 and 14x 13 (hard to see, but there are narrow pieces alongside some of this in green check...inch or two wide) Piece at the bottom is 17" x 42" . (That is from the ad) Or...it's all too possible you now have the chance to get her after me and tell me which measurements I Didn't put in! Answer: I don't see a picture of fabric on a bed..I see the fabric, but don't know what is what...if that makes any sense.. Are the pieces seperate..or some sewn together? Is that what you mean by blocks? Blue piece at the top runs from 18' to 25' wide x 66" long with the side blocks 12 x 14 and 14x 13 Answer: What might be the problem is something I mentioned to Jim awhile ago. If you don't upload photos they won't show! Hahaha..don't I look cute with a red face? hey! What's funnier is you're the first one to mention the missing "bed" Try it now. Answer: I'm sure you all know or remember HCQ, who was kind and patient enough to look all this over and tell me what it was and agree that is it turn of the century or before. Turn of Which century? Before I started selling on eBay, I had a 3-day yard sale which included 3 footlockers full of material. This material came from a lady who was a seamstress in NYC in the 1950s. Her DH would purchase 5 yard pieces for her to use, but as most seamstresses, we collect material for future use and never use it. People came back everyday and purchased more material at a very cheap price. When, I joined eBay, I wanted to kick myself for selling that material so cheap. I still have about half of that material left, but the great pieces are gone. Good luck with your material. Answer: Turn of Which century? Is that a reference to my age?? Or the fact that I bought that fabric at Ben Franklin in May of 2001? What do you mean, people buy yardage and never use it? Now I think you're talking about that boxful I have ..some still with the price tags on (and have been toting around since the late 60's/70's.) I don't mind so much the stuff I got rid of through the years..but it hurts more when it was JUST before finding eBay,doesn't it? Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
