Does it really make any difference?
Question:
How do you search the OCM? Do you browse by categories? Power browse? View all auctions?
I'm trying to decide which category is best suited for quilt books. I listed my first quilt book auctions in Books > Non fiction. The book category has lots of listings. I've also listed some in Collectibles > Textiles as well as Crafts and Hobbies > Crafts, sewing. Neither of the last two categories have many listings.
Does it irritate you to find a book listed in the textiles category? I can change the category easy enough if it bothers anyone.
I would like your thoughts on this isssue, please.

Answer:
Well, I'd like to know the answer to this too.
I've not listed as many books as Joan, but I've put them in all the above categories myself...because I just couldn't decide what made the most sense.
It may not make much difference for those of us who know where to look, but what about someone who's coming by for the first time? Or finds one book via Google.
Answer:
FWIW...Personally, I like having books in the search/category that I'm shopping....I don't much go to a specific "book" category (here or eBay) but find those I do purchase via a keyword search...
Answer:
Then I guess I need to be sure that I have the word book in the title.
Right now it's fairly easy to browse all of the OCM auctions and find all the listings but hopefully, it won't be that way for long.
