For those who didn't see it, Jim posted this Thursday in the Town Hall Forum:
I'd like to thank everyone for adding to the 'hat'.. there's still lots to come and we still needs lots of help in various areas.. I've selected the Global Hosts, and given them an official name..
The "Community Hosts" will be, in no particular order, Elizdale, GoodWorks1, and FLvamp.
So, we now have "Forum Hosts" that manage individual forums, and "Community Hosts" that can do the same, but with all the forums.
Now you don't have to wait for me to delete spam in forums without a host, etc., Our very own Goodworks1 is now an here Community Host!

I think we're all marching into new and unknown territory here! And I have to admit it's a little scary. So far nothing much has really changed for me except getting used to the idea, but no doubt there will be plenty of stuff once Jim gets to all the things on his list!

I know I've been busy with real life lately...and will be for the next couple months...but once we're moved and this house sold I should be around much more.
I guess we could wait and see how busy you will be with your new duties.
As a Community Host. you will be able to award contest points, right? That will certainly make our contests easier!

Well, I think the point-giving is one of the things Jim wants to pass off to someone else, so yes, I do think I'll be able to give points in any forum where that's needed. (Or at least one of the community hosts will be able to do so)
Yes, I guess we can just play it by ear. We can always make changes later. The rest of us here are no doubt needed to help with all the new committees Jim is proposing in Town Hall! Lots of changes here to ensure that here will be able to continue on past a couple more months!
