There's also a black & white ad for a 5 pound bundle of cotton "rags" for 79 cents. "Each piece a full width from selvage to selvage. No piece less than 4 inches long. Asorted pieces for patching clothes, making rag rugs, quilts - literally dozens of uses."

I've been looking at those American Fabrics magazines for quite a while, but I've been most interested in older ones.
That's partly because I prefer samples of natural fabrics and the 70s ones seem to be mainly showing synthetics or synthetic blends.
The other side of this for me is that the 50s are 'nostalgic' whereas the 60s and 70s are just eras I'd rather not revisit Maybe it's an age thing. I was there. And I'd rather not wear those fabrics again.
So...
Yes, anytime you want to upload any photos that have to do with textiles here we'd be most appreciative. And you are welcome to show us stuff you've got.
