Descriptive words ...
Question:
Any ideas on what to call the green dots with little white flowers besides green dots with little white flowers? I am looking to find some clever wording to describe that background pattern.

Answer:
Hi..
Is it Calico?
Answer:
Calico is lots of tiny flowers?
This has real light green background then green dots or freckles mixed in with some little white flowers then also the character print. I usually just describe the colors and print but was curious if there is some special wording for this kind of stuff.
So Far I figured quilted baby fabric 70's green novelty print with Fox, Bunny, Kitten and Puppy. Not sure if thats a fox or cat now tho, one I am sure is a kitten but not sure about the other.
Here is a better close up

Those green dots turned out to be tiny leaves!
Answer:
How about this for a title: "Cute Vintage 70's Quilted Fabric Baby Animals On Bikes"...or something like that.
In your description I think it would be accurate to say the the background is a green and white calico print. Calico generally denotes a small all-over floral print though on ebay it's used in lots of ways!
Answer:
Thanks Maple! I am at a loss for words today just can't seem to come up with good ones on my own!
How about this one

Answer:
It's a little difficult to make out the design from that photo but that won't stop me at attempting a title! How about "Vintage 70's Quilted Fabric Li'l Boys & Bonnet Girls"
There aren't any mushrooms pictured are there? Because then we would have to rewrite the title to include mushrooms.
Answer:
Do you have a scanner? You might be able to get closer more details pictures with it.
Answer:
I do have a scanner but it's on our old comp and takes forever. I'll try and get a better pic of this one it's a really light pattern. Thanks maple I really like the bonnet girls!
Answer:
They're not Holly Hobbie are they? They sort of remind me of her.
Answer:
I don't think it's Holly Hobbie although they kind of do look like her just a little different.
One of the girls looks like she has Dutch shoes on, the wooden ones with pointed front? These 70's prints have been driving me nuts they remind me of stuff that I just can't grasp hold of the names for. Must be cause I was so young when this stuff was new
