Welcome to Live Dialogue !!!

Anyone wanna do a new Grab It Quick..
Question:
We haven't done one in a while. From an old thread:

quote:
The item offered for grabs should be related to the forum title Textiles / Sewing & Fiber Arts.
It may be something new or used. It might be something wonderful that you just don't have a need for or a place to put. It could even be something that you have listed for auction that wasn't seen by the right person and therefore didn't get a bid (grin).
A picture of an item will be posted and the item will be offered up for grabs. It will go (postage paid) to the first person who posts that they want it. The person who takes the item must then offer another item and post a picture.

I'll post mine in a few..

Okay, I'll go first. Here's a stack of fat quarters. They are a very pretty assortment of plaids. The label said 100% cotton & I didnt feel them before I bought them. They have a bit of "stretch" to them so I'm not going to use them for quilting..
...anyone?

Oh gosh, Tina! You are sure not making this easy. A year ago I would have jumped on that with both feet but I'm trying to get rid of excess quilting stuff. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_frown.gif
Actually, I was just checking in and thought you might want to consider posting a link up above on the ebay board. There might be crafters or quilters up there that don't realize we are down here.
Answer:
Oh my. Those would make a great shaggy quilt... http://community.here.com/infopop/em...s/icon_eek.gif
Oh my oh my. How do I decide????
Okay, yes I want them.
Now I have to come up with something, right? Hmm. Be back...

okay, I'm staying with the fat quarter theme here. http://community.here.com/infopop/em.../icon_wink.gif
This one will be 4 or 5 fat quarters from this collection. Same colorway, etc, but may not be these exact prints (or they might be the same!). I'm selecting from precut fat quarters (cut generously and on-grain for long-ago ebay auctions! lol) because I don't want to cut these lengths of fabric that you see on the website because they still sell regularly as yardage...

The colors are generally grayish greens and browns. Very classic William Morris... Look great with craftsmen type furnishings, oak woodwork, bungalows, etc...

OK, I'm back. Today is the day DH and I do some serious housecleaning for Thanksgiving. He can only take so much housework before he has to stop and blow something up (on the computer) so I had to wait until he finished winning WWII.
There's about two yards here plus an additional piece. Unfortunately there are two spots about 3x6 each that was faded from where it was folded, but should still have over two yards of usable fabric. 100% cotton and prewashed.
From that black and white quilt that never got past the planning stage. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...n_rolleyes.gif
