At a REAL estate sale! The late owner was a veritable seamstess extroidinare!
You should have seen her draperies in her formal rooms and curtains and bedspreads in the bedrooms. She handmade all of her clothes also.
I got these two pieces, the Irish Linen pillowcases, the 6 yds of polka dots that I have up now, a large piece of a lightweight plummy corduroy, and a blue/purple plaid cotton.
And I only got what I did because they were in a hatbox in the back of a closet. This other lady walked out with half a van-load of materials!
I stuck them all in a box with some needlework and found them when I was digging for the pillowcases.
