Only you guys would appreciate this story. I have a fat quarter listed on eBay right now. It's clearly stated that it's a fat quarter, with measurements given. I use the word QUILT in the ad.
Tonight I get this question:
"Just how big is this quilt. I want to cover a pool table."

That's cute! I've noticed something lately...people seem to be taking words extremely literally! I often label my photos in the auctions to help clarify the picture. Recently I sold a pair of earrings and wrote WEISS on the photo..which happened to be on the display card area. The buyer wrote me that she like the earrings but how come she didn't get the card "Marked Weiss"....
Well.... I explained all. But it made me think. Man we get used to doing and saying things about our goodies, and sometimes forget that newer shoppers might not view/read the same way!!
And can you image if that pool table shopper had bought the "quilt" and then received the fabric???? OOOHHHHH we hates to think that scenario!!!! LOL
