Coro Two Owls Pin
Question:
Hi What do you call these sharp end things? This is a Coro pin. One owl is signed on the back with a script Coro Craft. It's heavy, goldtone It has a pin latch on the back but the two owls come out of the pin and have two very sharp pin/prongs. I was thinking maybe so one could use them as shoe clips? But who would want to wear it as a pin with those sharp pins? I would thing they would stab a person. Does this type of pin have a special name? (I know one owl is missing some stones. Of course it's the one with the signature. I do have one stone that goes in the tail) Answer: Hi doobie - It's a Coro Duette (for the two figures that can be separated) fur clip. The sharp prongs are for holding on a fur. Here are some more Coro Duettes. http://www.morninggloryjewelry.com/a...eywords=duette Even missing the stones, it's probably worth some money! Answer: Thanks! I just couldn't image someone wanting to wear it as a pin. Answer: Originally Posted by doobeedog Thanks! I just couldn't image someone wanting to wear it as a pin. Ouch! It's a great find, I'm jealous! Good luck with it, and I bet you can get those baguette stones replaced - if those are all that's missing, you might be able to fully restore it. Answer: I've had it for a few years. I think I got it from the local second hand store or much of nothing. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
