Help with Description of this Ring
Question:
I bought a bunch of costume jewelry at an auction and most of it is going to my mall booth. However, this ring really caught my eye and I thought it might be worth listing on eBay. It is not marked anywhere and is about 1 inch in diameter. It is somewhat adjustable (see photo below). It looks like a combination of clear and black stones. Can you help me write a description? Answer: I'll leave the description to the bead/rhinestone people, but I saw a tray of rings like this in a gift shop last week. No idea if they were imitations of something else, but they had the same type of adjustable band on them. Very pretty trinkets. Great color and sparkle. They were priced at $14.99. Answer: It looks like lovely costume jewelry, but since I can't see it in person. or loupe it, I would advise you to take it to a jeweler, and see if those black stones are gemstones, or glass. JMHO Answer: That looks like an base metal adjustable band. I highly doubt if the stones are semi precious they looks like black diamond possibly austrian or swaroski crystal rhinestones. They are definitely not acrylic. And from what I see from the picture they are prongset or some of them are anyway....... I would list this in the fashion jewelry category-rhinestones.....start the bidding at 9.99...... Answer: Thanks, everybody. I have decided to take it to my booth at the mall. I do pretty well selling jewelry from both my mall spaces. I appreciate your help. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
