TMC
Question:
Does anyone drive or know anything about TMC? I tried to use the search feature, but it came up that there was a problem. Answer: Past Posts about TarpMoreCargo(click here) Answer: TMC is a flatbed compant out of Demoines IA. They are a good company to work for. They have alot of rules and regulations but they seem to be upfront with their drivers. They are really strick on their hiring process so.......make sure all your I are dotted and T are crossed. TMC's website is www.tmctrans.com. Check out that website. TMC is owed by Annett Holdings Inc. If you want to run flatbed TMC would be the company to run 'em. Hopes this helps. Answer: I drive for TMC and am happy here so far. There are alot of hoops to jump through before you get your truck but they dont push me to run harder than I can and the paycheck is always there. Most other TMC drivers I talk to are happy with the company as well, I hear alot less whining about TMC then I hear about alot of other companies. I guess they arent as militant as they used to be either. They also own KTL, Fortune Express and Keystone Trucking the last two being owner operator outfits. I will warn you that flatbedding isnt the easiest way to go no matter who you pull for. Hope this helps I will try to answer any other questions if you would like. Be good and you will be lonesome.~M Twain~ Answer: will i work for tmc also and all i can say it is a very hard job. when i started i was told alot that was not true so here goes the true story. frist the truks run 64 mph , 97% of the loades are tarped steel tarpes are about 70 pounds and lumber tarps are about 150 pounds. you will have people tell you that they can secure a load and tarp it in 35 minutes that is not true i am good but it takes me about a hour and a half most times and for that hour and a half you get 10$ now on the other end you get nothing for putting it away and it takes about a hour most times so for two and a half hours you get 10$. like i side it is a hard job but i can say they have been fare to me but that said this is my last month with them i did my 6 months with them and that is it. they have alot of places that you will set 2 to 6 hours to get loaded or unloaded and you do not get paided to set. now you know alittle more about tmc i will give you a clue 95% of the flatbed companys out there are the same way so before signing a year away chose wisely YOU CAN SLEEP AFTER YOU DELIVER THE LOAD Answer: Thanks for the info. What ever happened to the other divisions of TMC? I remember seeing Shamrock with there dark green trucks. I think there was also Jamesport and Southport but Im not positive on those. Did these divisions get sold? Are the condos for teams? I've been seeing more and more midroof sleepers. Is there a reason behind this? Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
