Well, I am back, having been away for a while.
Question:
Last March I came home from the road to take care of my ailing wife. I got a job locally, and My wife and I were closer than we have ever been. On October 18,2003, my wife passed away after having found out two weeks earlier she had lukemia. I was glad to have spent the last 6 months of her life as close as we were. I loved her very much. I was critisized for having quit the road to take care of her, but I did it because of love. I will miss her a lot. All you truckers out there with families at home, my prayers are with you. If your wife says come home, something is wrong, do it, You may not ever have the chance again. Due to the hoopla over multi-names and such I have decided to reveal my real name here, to prove I am real." John Wayne Drysdale Answer: John, My condolences to you. My prayers will also be with you. You made the right choice. There is no comparison between the woman you love and the job you do. There really are no words to say at a time like this. God be with you and hang in there. I hope you never second-guessed your decision. It sounds like there are some others out there that need a big time reality check.
