Good luck in your quest for knowledge!

Answer:
Hi Bearbell,
Thank you, This is a pretty kewl place. Who do you drive for? I'm thinking about maybe Werner or WSE so far, not many to choose from in Arkansas
Dan

Answer:
Check out P.A.M. in Tontitown. Southern Refrigerated Transport in Ashdown. Deboer in Texarkana. J.B. Hunt in Lowell. FFE uses a driving school near Little Rock, but FFE is in Lancaster, TX. USA Truck in Van Buren (Ft. Smith).
Lots of companies in addition to this listing in Arkansas.
Hope this helps.

Answer:
Hi Chetjester,
It is very helpful.Thank you
P.A.M. and USA are two others that I have concidered also. I am looking to go regional more then OTR I would like to be home on the weekends So far I'm just weighing all my options before making any decisions. Any and all information is greatly appreciated.

Answer:
they pay you for the 7 days off during the two training periods...try this link it explains it.werner training

Answer:
Raggs,
Quoted from the site
On option#1 Werner would then pay bus fare home for 7 days of paid time off
After 7 days of paid time off, Werner would then pay bus fare back to the closest terminal.
That is why they give the people who don't go home the $500.00 and the end of the training.
Thats how I read it anyways

Answer:
Hey Raggs, what part of AR are you from if you don't mine me asking?
Dan

Answer:
out of Little Rock claims to get its drivers home every weekend(or they used to)......if you interested in pulling a skateboard.
CD
"I dont like small cars or real big women, but somehow I always find my self in 'em" (Kid Rock) recovering dweller..........oilfield trash division

Answer:
Hey CD,
Nah, not really interested in pulling skate boards just yet. I think I'll get my feet wet with a van first Though I've heard that Maverick is a good company to work for, but they don't offer CDL classes from what I've read on thier site.
Dan

Answer:
Hey ChetJester,
Do you know if any of the companies you listed let you take your truck home at the end of the run or do you have to leave it at the terminals? just curious
Dan
