School is going good!!!
Question:
We have had alot of road time so far. Most of it is city driving. We've all got around 200 miles of mostly city driving so far. This place is great. Our instructor did a mock CDL test on us yesterday and all of us passed except one guy. He stopped on the railroad tracks. He knew better than to do that. The same guy also uncoupled a trailer and set the parking brake on the trailer and not the tractor and when he pulled the realease the tractor started rolling forward and almost ripped off the air/electric lines. These guy are teaching us alot of good stuff to use. They teach it as CDL test and common sense situations also. We've only got next week to prepare now. The guy in our class from Michigan takes his test on next Friday and we take our test in Ohio on Dec. 9th. Just thought I would like to keep everyone updated on how the class is going.
Monday we make an actual delivery with three drops. We are going to Constintine, MI, Kalamazoo, MI and then last to Battle Creek, MI. I think that it will be some good experience. I'll post on how the trip went on Monday when we get back.

Answer:
Nice to see it's going OK. Keep up the good work.
I hate driving in the snow and ice but your probably use to it living up there.

Hey, if life throws you a curve ball, try and take a swing at it. Who knows what might happen

Answer:
Hey Buckeye,
Glad to hear training is going good
Question:
Are you in a private school or a company school?
if a company school, which one? just curious
Dan

Answer:
I'm in a private school. It is a very good school. They have taught me alot. Yesterday we went and made a loaded run. It was good. Got to talk to some Werner drivers. They seemed to like the new HOS and likes driving for them. He pulled flatbed and has been with them for 10 years. We were gone for about 14 hours total. I learned alot. So far my only complaint is the waiting in the back seat while the other three guys were driving but that is the same with any other school.
