Question:
Im going to Columbia, SC for orientation for TMC(Annet Holdings). I know they are particular about their equipment and their load securement. I welcome any comments or suggestions I can use during training.

well you wanted to know so here it goes. frist four days is a old truck driver telling you that he has seen and done it all DO NOT BELIVE IT ALL.as for the securement really pay attention it will save you alot of headachesas far as the driving part goes i did not have to do that part i was hired as a exp driver. you are right about the trucksthey look nice and they like to keep them nice you have to get it washed every week. the last thing is traping i do not know if you have been around them or not but i will tell you the steel tarps are about 70 pounds and the lumber tarps are about 150 pounds and 95 precent of the loades are tarped. it is not a bad place to learn i have been here about 6 months and it is ok some days are better then others. i hope that you get along with your roommate

i am going to their orientation in columbia on 1 december. how many miles do you average per week, and do you really get as much time off as they advertise?

yes most of there drivers do get home every weekend i stay out for 4 to 6 weekes at a time for the miles. most of the drivers i say are getting about 2500 miles a week i get about 2900 to 3200 a week because they do not have to get me hame on the weekend
