CR England is bad news, man. Those guys are probably the worst labor scofflaws in the business and that's saying alot when you consider that this is the trucking industry we're talking about. Your paychecks will never add up, the equipment is trashed (although those red trucks sure do look pretty cruising down the highway), and the majority of loads are back-breaking hand-unloads in freezing-cold reefers during the wee hours of the morning. They will run you like a sled dog and they will push you to run illegal. Drivers that break the rules are rewarded with pretty trucks and better runs but those that refuse will end up sitting at truckstops for 4 days straight.
They are also big on pushing the lease program. Sign up for that and you might as well sign it in blood because they will own your soul after that. Now you know the real reason those trucks are red!
Oh yeah, they actually have an entire business division dedicated to recovering abandoned trucks and trailers. I can't tell you how many trailers I've seen with that spiffy coat-of-arms symbol sitting on flat tires in an abandoned field or parking lot.
You've been warned!!!

It is a company "I HAVE NEVER WORKED FOR" so my opinion should not be taken as gospil.
Some that I have talked with on the Highway like working there , seem to be old timers , newer guys have very little GOOD to say about them.
CR has a run up into Ontario Canada , 2 of the trucks on it I see quite abit, both of the teams like it as its drop / hook and by the sounds of it pays very good.
From what has been posted on here and at the BAD site I would suggest looking elsewhere for employment.

Answer:
In my whole time at England, I found very few happy people working there. Heck, even when I was in the Marines there were guys who loved that stuff (granted, they were a little insane to begin with), and that was running around with guns in the mud and getting shot at.
The fact that there's so many miserable people there is a testament to poor leadership from the top. At England, there's way too many chiefs for the amount of injuns in the field. The whole executive level is filled with members of the England family and their cronies who all pull down big salaries and bonuses. Meanwhile, the drivers starve at .23 cpm and never get to see their families at home. The chiefs also look down upon the drivers and they will go to great lengths to get drivers into the England "Premier Lease" program, which is just a slimy way to make unsuspecting people pay for all the maintenance and depreciation on a company truck. I cringed when I saw starry-eyed newbies sign on that dotted line thinking they were getting started on the American dream of owning their own business. It ususally turned out to be just that - a dream, and that's why the road is littered with so many abandoned England trucks and trailers.
Well, if anyone ever stumbles across an England trailer filled with Cocoa-Puffs, let me know. My kids sure do love that stuff!

Hmmm, I haven't a clue who that someone could be.

Answer:
Today I saw an interesting sign on the back of a CR England trailer. It read "If this trailer is found sitting at the same place for more than one month, please call 1-800-XXX-XXXX for a reward."
Now if that doesn't keep people away from these guys, than I guess nothing will!
