Grand Island Express going bankrupt? Anybody?
Question:
I am about to graduate school and I am looking into working with Grand Island Express in Grand Island, NE. They are a smaller company, which I hear has it's advantages. They pay .25 a mile to start and by the end of the year, I should be at .29 a mile, plus fuel bonuses and safety. They pull reefers and are home every weekend. A driver from G.I. Express said they usually leave Sunday night and are home Thursday evening.
But recently, I have heard that their business isn't doing so well, and they have contemplated filing bankruptcy. Does anyone know enything about this or have any idea where I could locate information about a company's success?
Much appreciated for any info. Thanks!
