What to do
Question:
Hey all, just wondering what yall's thoughts are on this, Im a wanna be newbie so I need training and the whole nine yards. Which would be the best route to go, Schneider, or get my license at a school somewhere and try for Trans Am? Just wondering what would be the best to start out, I know once I get a year in Ill be able to go just about anywhere thanks! Truck safe out there. Singledrive Answer: pay for school or go to a company school. Schneider has a very good training program. So do www.Roehl.Net and www.MillisTransfer.com TMC is, I believe, a flat bed company. So you got 2 questions- do you want to drive flat beds and then the question of where do you go for training. At least you named 2 good companies. Answer: If you have the CASH to Pay for school out of your Pocket, then go That route. If you do NOT have CASH, I suggest either SAVING until you have the CASH or inquiring at the Employment Office about one of the Government funded programs that you do NOT have to repay & do NOT have to sign a Contract or you can Sign a Contract with a carrier & let the carrier Pay for your school.
