Question:
I finally got a call today from Roehl. To come in next week for an interview, I know it's not a definate but I feel quite confident that I can get the job.
a bit of history - my father and I were dismissed from the Canadian National Railway last week. for something we honestly did not do, but since him and I were high level union officers and had been after us for a few years I guess they got theirs. I mean we get axed for being 30 minutes late 1st time ever late and a guy comes in the other day 1hr 30 min late and nothing. Ahh railroad justice gotta love it.
So here I am out of a 55k a year job with nothing else to do. So I look into this trucking thing.
Enter the WIFE - she's not too kean on the idea of driving you know pay/benefits not as good time away from home (with Roehl I hear it's much better than some) But I guess with no $$ coming in right now I gotta do what I gotta do, right?
Now I 'm 2nd guessing myself a bit, but Actually I'm just Scared. Yeah I said it Scared. Not of driving or being away from home but of the not knowing you getting into something new. I all I want to do is pay my bills and maybe after a year get a job driving locally. She's afraid I'll like it and not wanna give it up after a year.
Just hoping someone could say Hey fella don't worry it'll be OK or anything else would help also.

Living in Wisconsin, you will be able to get some good hometime. Maybe after you get your feet wet the little honey can join you on a trip.
Remember though alot of what happens will depend on your attitude towards the job!
