do companies like Roehl, US Express, or any of the other training companies require a reservation fee before training like Schneider does? Just curious

Pretty much only Schnieder had one of those "fees". The rest do require a down payment on day one when you attend their school.

The fee schnider us to charde was like 101.00. This was for the drug and physical test. This was paid back after hire date. Think how many drivers probaly set up orientaion dates and never show up. This happens all the time. A driver sets up a date with a carrier and gets the ball rolling, they do the back ground check, and set up a room and trainer only to find out that the driver dosn't come to orientaion. They just wasted 1000 bucks. Other carriers will not charge a thing. You THINK you have a job only to find out once you get there that they have not done anything yet.202 N Main Street
