CR England
Question:
Hey all, I start school in 1 week. Please tell me what is soooo bad about England. Tha majority of advice here is really negative on them. They are 1 of my 3 prehires. Just wondering why I should avoid them! Answer: Do a Search under cr england and u will soon find out. I also had a pre hire with them. Did the reseach on the boards here and did not go with them. see a lot of drivers here in buffalo that do not look happy. So glad I went with a small co. mole Answer: with extremely low pay, a very poor payroll department that will screw up your check every chance they get. Very, very poor driver relations. Could care less if you ever see home. I will always be a mutter trucker at heart. _________________ Answer: Originally posted by byrider: CR England is pretty bad. I was with them three diferent times and each time it was no better. Each time I left was due to a poor training program and trainers who did'nt care if you learned anything or not as long as they got their money. Each time I told the training section they said So What. The 3rd time they wanted me to take their Driver School, so I did and that was a big mistake. I sure hope they have changed cause about 75% left due to poor training. I went with Dick Simon and they were not much better but I had a very good trainer and Fleet Manager. I stayed with Dick Simon for 8 months before I left due to I was only on the east coast and could not get to the west coast. That was just before they were sold. Take it for what it's worth, don't go with CR England, you'll not like then. --> --> The training period was actually the highlight of my stint there. After that it was downhill fast. @#*!%$^@! _________________ @#*!%$^@! Answer: Originally posted by wingman07: Hey all, I start school in 1 week. Please tell me what is soooo bad about England. In a nutshell, go with CR england if you like: -low pay -never going home -lumping all your loads -disregarding the hours of service rules -waiting, and waiting, and waiting -pallet exchange -cantankerous reefer units -overweight freight -Hunt's Point Market, NYC -being taken advantage of -being unappreciated -going to an early grave @#*!%$^@! _________________ @#*!%$^@! Answer: AMEN Highwayman,, Couldn't of said it better....... LISTEN to him,,, he speaks the truth,, I was with CR England and experienced ALL of that list plus more.. just glad I made it out of there with a clean record Answer: Please tell me what is soooo bad about England Okay, I will... What is so bad is, that every single, negative thing that I and others have posted about CRE, is 100%, the honest truth as to how terrible the company is... One of Many posts here Hopefully you have done a search here, and have come to the conclusion to have nothing to do with CRE.. --> --> --> ----------------------------- Learning experience in progress [This message was edited by me on November 05, 2003 at 21:17.] [This message was edited by me on November 05, 2003 at 21:18.] Answer: And those shiny red trucks are really stripper dogs. They just look good to those who dont know better. Roughly 80% of newbies company choices are made by the trucks appearance and nothing else. Answer: The first company that I drove for that was not family owned was PLOOF.. I talked to one of the Terminal Managers and he told me point blank..If you want to drive a shiney fast truck don't come to work here...Our trucks are a piece of crap. But if you want to make good money then this is where you want to be.. Then yoy have drivers talk about the Big Fancy Drivers Lounge that the company built for the driver...Who Cares..If you are going to spend that much time hanging out in a terminal then you are not making any money.. To He!! with all the millions you spent on your HeadQuarters and Fancy Lounge..Give the drivers a raise..Some companies you may see the terminal a few times a year if you are lucky..(unlucky) Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away Answer: Yeah, you ought to listen to these experienced drivers here Wingman. When they have bad things to say about England, they mean it. Unlike recruiters, posters here will not blow smoke up your a$$. They are here to help you. Alot of newbies already have their minds made up and get mad when people here tell them the truth. Please keep an open mind, though, and consider all options because there are much (much, much, much, much...MUCH!!!) better companies to get your start with than England. !Buena suerte con su decisión! Fact is, if you load heavy, it's the DRIVER'S responibility to get it within limits, even if that means having the shipper remove pallets of product. CRE will NOT pay for overweight tickets OF ANY KIND!! I found this out one time when I hauled a load of peat-moss out of Vilna, about 120 miles northeast of Edmonton! I scaled out at the plant, (only scales around for 100 miles), at 78k+ and again in Edmonton, same weight, 78k+. When I got to Hermiston, Ore., I rolled across the scales at 81k+. It seems that the on the trip down, I encountered rain, snow and about every kind of moisture known to mankind and little did I know that peat-moss absorbs moisture like a sponge!! The overweight ticket was only $68 and it was my contention that CRE should have payed it! CRE also should have given me a "heads-up" on absorbing qualities peat-moss as they have hauled this stuff scores of times before. As for their reefers, that's about the only thing that CRE does take care of. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
