Does anyone have any specific knowledge of Swifts car hauling divison? Do they really make the money that the recruiters "claim" they do (60k-80k)? I understand that recruiters tell you what you want to hear but this sounds a little far fetched for a recruiter. Thanx for answering my questions.

sorry for the delay (finding out myself). If you live near a yard $80,000 is easy. Live further away (or a light yard (Mississippi)) it will be harder. All of this is after you learn ie not the first year. hope this helps

It was brought up here a few months ago by someone asking if the Swift statement of you can make $80,000 dollars in just three years which is true.
$27,000 per year over a three year period is $81,000. So technically they aren't lying, just not telling you the whole story.

Be warned that it is extremly hard to get on the auto transport division. I know first hand that they have a huge waiting list. The recruiter will tell anything u want to hear cause your a number in their books. Much like their dedicated accounts very rarely do they give them to new guys.

Ask a Teamster car hauler what they get paid but be sitting down when and if they tell you.
