Trucking Companies
Question:
I'm returning to truck driving after many years. I let my CDL go back then, Rocket City Madman now kicking his self. Anyways to make a long story short I've applied to quite a few companies that have driver training available and the ones that have accpeted me so far are, Werner, Schneider, FFE, and last but not least U.S. Express. Now here's what I need, I need the scoop on these comapnies, the good, the bad, the ugly and the indifferent. Any replies will be welcome and all will be taken with a grain of salt and a truckload of appreciation.vgresham@hiwaay.net Answer: plus many more have been discussed at length on the boards here. Use the search function and you shall find enough facts and opinions to make your head spin. For Schnieder you can also try WWW.pumpkindriver.com I will always be a mutter trucker at heart. Answer: You might want to check into them. They seem to have a good program and pay very well starting out. Answer: I had my cdl for a while before I went there, but had no "OTR" training. The training they offer is great. Many skilled drivers need to go to the school now.lol. The bad thing about them is their trucks for students. They are not like most of the companies. They will give you the junk of the fleet. A lot of the other carriers do not cherry pick drivers for trucks. Good luck. O, Do not fall for going to some local school. Most carriers will still make you go through their school. Why wast the time. Go straight to their school and let them foot the bill.202 N Main Street Summerfield Il 62289 TRUCK PARKING AVAILABLE!
