For You Guys Who Make Your Own Meals
Question:
Yes, I make my own meals, too. I'm just curious for you gentleman (ladies too!) who don't eat in resteraunts or truckstops and bring your own food, what food(s) is/are typical to you? I try to vary mine as much as possible, but I usually end up with a box of Little Debbi snacks, a variety of fruit, deli meat, bread, cheese, and some Dr. Pepper, among other things. What about you guys? Answer: This threadclick here will give you some ideas about cooking in the cab. I put a URL in there for a vacuum seal a meal appliance that I think is a good investment if you have equipped your truck with a microwave. You make up meals at home and seal them up and these packages take up less room in a cooler or fridge then tupperware bowls and you can toss away the wrappers instead of worrying about how to wash the dishes out. You do not have to give up variety if you choose to eat in the cab. ****************************** "If you think that something small cannot make a difference - try going to sleep with a mosquito in the room." Answer: I prefer to cook mind fresh. Microwave and a small propane grill that fits in my side box takes care of most of my needs. *********************************** When your in a Star Car, nothing else is needed to be said Answer: Get a small crock pot, throw some meat and veggies in that bad boy and you'll have a nice, hot meal more often.
