Don't forget to buy an "island" for the middle of the floor in your sleeper. Make sure you get the barstools also!

Now you can invite another rookie in for lunch, so he can listen to you brag about how much money you're making now that you don't eat in the truckstops no more.

Answer:
"Oh my god, that trucks on fire, what are we gonna do?!??!?!?"
Well folks, take a plane ride to a small island
Hope you are not too tired and fall asleep cooking, that could be a real disaster. I am serious on this. Try making what I like to call "Gormet sandwiches" How do you do that? Simple, get good bread, not the cheap stuff. Like a good 12 grain for example. Then if you are a cheese conisour like myself, get yourself 2 lbs of Muenster sliced. Get some good quality sandwich mean, roast beef for example, and some good sandwich spread. I myself prefer a good mustard, such as a good chipole. Then last, but certianly not least the lettuce. Fresh hearts of Romaine are tops in my book, and use a leaf or two.
Thats what eating in your truck is all about in my book. Oh, I also have 2 large coffe thermos' filled every morning. You can trust the trucknapper, honestly.

TJ,
You're making me hungry. Are you trying to tell us that a driver could eat healthy, good tasting, & reasonably priced meals on the road and not balloon up?!??

Answer:
I want that 3 in 1 dealy. Kind of looks efficient. Don't know about the burner on top though. I really don't like the smell of cooking food and grease. It would make the truck smell like a kitchen, yuck. But the coffee and toaster idea is kind of neat.
I really would like to know how all these people that say they cook in their trucks find the time. I've never had enough.
"There is just something about fresh winter snow and a river. The day is bright even if it is cloudy, the water is friendly even if it is cold and the fish are there even if they are not biting."

Answer:
Since I eat sammiches all the time, I make em not so boring. examples
Cheese, how do you live without that? mabe cause I am from WI, who knows
Good meat, I mean cmone, bologna isnt meat! its like calling Spam a Ham steak. Just wrong.
A good Mustard, or one of these new samdwich spreads, I mean who doesnt like a little horseradish with their beef?? and Chipole mustard, for those who havent had it, is the greatest invention!
If you choose no to use a spread on your sandwich, this is where the lettuce comes in especially. Makes it not so dry...
TJ---for more sandwich recipies, lemme know

Answer:
the 3000 watt inverter you would probably need to run that thing. Geesh.
I will always be a mutter trucker at heart.
Answer:
I'm Seriously thinking about getting one of those.

Answer:
I usually just cook from the microwave. When I go home once every week or so (I haven't spent more than two weeks out on the road in over a year now) the wife usually sets me up with a good number of pre-cooked meals that I can just pop in the microwave wherever I'm stopped at. That nice little 12V cooler I have does well for me, and therefore, I'm set to go. I eat well, avoid eating at truckstops and save a bunch of money.
Before I started carrying microwavables with me, I still had a miniature propane stove that I cooked on. Usually simple stuff - fried burger mixed in with rice and vegetables, chicken noodle soup (microwavable as well), potato hash (burger and potatoes), etc, etc, etc. Really simple stuff, and even cheaper when you buy it at a wholesale place like Sam's.
Okay, enough of the rambling. Just the idea. Besides, the food tastes much better than truckstop food.
Not to say I don't eat resteraunt meals from time to time, but I'll do that no more than once a week.
