After a good rain or driving thru one, REMEMBER TO DRAIN THE CRANKHANDLE before lowering or raising the landing gear, if you don't you will get an unexpected shower with dirty, rusty water
and I know nobody likes that.

and it is one of those things so easy to forget to do. Nothing like getting soaked while dropping a trailer after it stops raining, and those crank handles can hold lots of water.
