Des Moines, Iowa. Lease tuck from CRE?
Question:
I did a post about my wife wanting to drive team.
That was true. The woman wants to go home. She
also thinks we shoud go to CRE. I told the
woman that Iowa was better. Any advice on leasing
a truck from CRE will be welcome. She likes the
trucks that CR England drives. To lease is a big
mistake. Juiced in Houston, lost in Austin. One
proud Texan.
Thanks-4speed

Answer:
post in the drivers roundtable about someone who went and leased on with Prime Inc. after he was warned repeatedly not to. Go read his post several times.
The only people who benefit by you leasing a truck is the lessor not you. Get some driving experience and go buy a used truck if you feel you need to be an O/O.

Answer:
Thanks for sending me to those post. I had to show
this to my wife. I think she will see the big and
complete story now. PRIME, if I am right on this
one it is: Please Remember I Mortgaged Everything.
CRE is about the same on the lease. No guts, no
glory. Not for me. Big risk.
I hope Iowa is a good place to live.

Answer:
Iowa is a great place to live but it is a tad cooler than Austin.

Answer:
Tell your wife " SHINY RED TRUCKS DO NOT PAY THE BILLS "
If you must go the CRE way look into their deal ( if they still have it )that allows you to PRETEND your are a LEASER for X # of months , if you do not see it as being what you want turn the BIG RED $ MACHINE in and walk away.

Not here. My old lady is one mean *****. I love
her very much. But, to put her over my lap and spank her butt or hit her in the head? She knows
where I keep my 44 and the clip. Slam bam and

Answer:
Leasing a car is a terrible idea.
Leasing a truck is an even worse one.
Why more people cannot understand this is something I cannot understand.
Answer:
My wife and I leased a Pontiac Sunbird back in 1985. It was a closed end lease with an option to
buy. We paid over $14,000 for that car on the lease, then spent $4,000 on the buyout. Dumb move. Been there and done that.

This is Pennies compared to a "Big Truck"

I can take my $9812.00 out of savings and sell the
Harley, and my van. Then I might have enough to
put down on a good used tractor. To be an O/Oper.
is very hard these days. I really wish I had the
**** to do it.
