Cheap Truck Simulator On Your Computer
Question:
The Software is called Hard Truck From ValuSoft Well its considered a game but, it really is more like a simulator. It shows you the real effects that can happen when you make hard turns in the city to sharp that wrap the trailer around a light post or run over other vehicles. Oh, Try and back the trailer into a dock between 2 trailers and hit something and you'll either damamage your cargo or your trailer will come unhitched. And cars do pass you just like the real world if you make a turn to wide or start backing on a heavy traveled street. It really makes you understand that there are many many different things that can happen when you drive in the real world such as turning or backing a 18 wheeler up. I highly recommend it before you start driving school. $10 is the price on the website.
Hey, if life throws you a curve ball, try and take a swing at it. Who knows what might happen

Answer:
i think they have a total of 4 games in this series now.
hard truck
hard truck 2
hard truck 18 wheels of steel
and just releases 18 wheels of steel across america.
the last one is a very good trucking simulator and can be found at most walmarts for $19.
next year rig and roll will be out and from what i have heard, it should top the rest. but until then 18 wheels across america is a very good trucking game for those that like computer truck games.

Answer:
It's really not a bad idea for a large training company (Like Schneider, US Xpress, or Werner) to hire some software developers to make a truckdriving simulation program that could be used on most modern PCs. Yes they would have to have a modified joystick to serve as the transmision shifter, and a steering wheek/brake; clutch; and accelerator, hardware. But hey... if Werner can invest millions in ONE single simulator, they could certainly get a resonabley accurate representation of tractor/trailer driving developed into a package that could be used on most personal computers. There is no substitute for the real thing of course but, it could still be great practice.. especially when shifting.

Answer:
Why have the simulator when you can drive the real thing.
"Nothing like the real thing, baby"

Answer:
Nick...
A simulator is for those drivers who just cannot get enough... they get to "drive" while sitting in their sleepers.

Answer:
I concur, my friend.
