hey everyone, just had a quick question.....i got a speeding ticket in a diff. state than the one i live in.. my question is my CDL expiration date is coming up this coming march and was just wandering how the ticket is going to affect me getting my license renewed....
How many tix do you have on your MVR?
Here in Oklahoma, you Must Pay tix BEFORE you can Renew CDL....and can NOT have any Warrants out, either.

BTW, Depending on WHAT STATE you rec'd the citation in...Nebraska, may or may Not recognize That state that the citation was issued in....Which Means that the citation may NOT Show up on your MVR.
Every yr you are required to fill out a form for your carrier stating the citations you rec'd in the Past 12mnths.....BEFORE you fill out that form, get a Copy of your MVR.

As long as the ticket is being dealt with, or has been dealt with it should not be an issue at all. The worst thing that might happen is that you may end up taking some extra written tests depending on how your home state handles it.

thanks alot for all of your replies...my license expires in March and that is the only ticket i have had in a very long time so that is the only thing that will be on my MVR if it does show up....i guess i could probably just call the local DMV and find out as well....
