cr england is there equipment as bad as everyone says the company is....good/bad equipment?..thinking of going thourgh there school.because im working for a sorry company now. just dont see much diff. at least with cre i can get some driving under my belt..and be driving somthing i been wanting to do.

It's my understanding that England treats drivers worse than the equipment.

There are many more companies out there that are so much better than CRE.

Actually most of CRE's equiptment is pretty nice. (That would be pretty and nice.) They don't run junk. They can afford not to. Why, because it doesn't cost them a dime. You get to pay for it.

This is coming from personal experience.
You would be doing yourself an injustice if you chose to drive for them,, you would be warning others away from them in due time if you make that move, however it is your choice.

As a former sucker (CR England driver), I second this sentiment!!!!
It would be better to be on welfare than to drive for them. You'd certainly have more spending money...

at CRE that is poor. It is the way they treat drivers that is so poor. The pay is probably the lowest of all the training companies, and the percentage of good things said about them is extremely low. Even Swift has more positive things said about them than CRE.
I will always be a mutter trucker at heart.

Stuffs, that "realdriver" site you sent the link for I have discovered is (in my opinion) mostly a whine site that is just a board for people to air their sentimets - unedited, unverified, and not a rating of the company.

Well, I just got hired on with CRE and I'm going to there truck driving school next month really excited not really knowing what to expect because I've never done this before. The way you all talk its like there the worst thing out there but I've had nothing but really good convos with the recruiters on the phone and I've seen the equipment so I'm really excited. I hope it works out better for me then the some of you. Praying everynite and day. Thanks to all.

Ya better read the posts here on CRE.Also, DON`T belive whatever ya hear from the recruiters.Recruiters are like fishermen, When thier lips are moving, THEY`RE LIEING. You have time to change your mind,use it. Like U-TURN said, even Swift is better than CRE. I know, I worked for Swift for 6months, and have talked to MANY CRE drivers and I can`t remember one who was happy after just a few weeks there.Just mt 2cents worth.

what is everyones big thing with driving a pretty truck?...i turned down a lot of offers from companys that had the pretty trucks , like the t-2000, but they all lack the mechanical backing that i prefer in trucks, who cares what it looks like, as long as the plant is nice and strong and the drivtrain is well cared for, who cares about how areodynamic that hood looks, or what colour the trucks is going to be that you will drive, be happy , that as a newbie they are willing to give you one of thier trucks to drive, as long as it is safe, then drive it, remember, you are not going to get the owners pride and joy your first day out of school, , and again, its the same thing with all you other newbies, why choose a school or company because of pretty trucks, pick one that will suit your needs, and not try to get you killed by forcing to run illegal.... -->
