Allied Auto Group
Question:
I've searched the entire Trucknet conference and found very little on this company. They are calling me and wanting me to apply.
Does anyone out there have any information, experience and/or opinions about this outfit?
I would surely appreciate any information.
thanx ..... cat

Answer:
that Allied is a union shop, which you might like, or might not. My uncle hauls cars out of Toledo for Cassens and makes $1.07 per mile as a company driver, I'm sure Allied isn't too far behind (or ahead). Hope this helps.

Answer:
Allied is still negotiating with the IBT on a seperate contract than the other carriers.
Sounds like they are trying to line up replacement workers incase of a strike.
This is the first time I've ever heard
of a UNION carrier phone recruiting Newbies.

Answer:
I thought they already passed the new contract a couple weeks ago that Allied was included in on?
Allied is one of those companys that are really hard to get into. Very low turnover rate.

Answer:
but decided to sign the contract this year.
largecar, if you were making $1 or more per mile as a company driver with excellent benefits, would you quit? I know I certainly wouldn't

Answer:
I don't know where you guys get your information
from but the Carhaulers contract has yet to be ratified by the members.
