ffe information
Question:
i was wondering does anyone have any information on ffe ..im accepted to there school .and im going in 7/1 ...

Answer:
I am in the same boat as you. I graduate from school July 17 way down here in Fort Lauderdale.
FFE is one of the few places that will hire from Miami/Fort Lauderdale. I have spoken to a driver that now runs a route IN Florida, usually MIA to JAX to TPA and back home. He loves it.
When he was OTR he said he got a ton of miles and they were always good to him. I am looking at a few other companies, but so far FFE sems to be at the top. They were also reccomended by my instructor.
Keep us posted on your adventure.

Answer:
Hey Chris,
When you applied for FFE how long did it took for them to reply to you? I am finishing school July 17 also and I applied for a job and was wondering how long it would take for a response.Any info would be appreciated.

Answer:
Somebody else graduating on the 17th of July! What are the cosmic odds of that happening!
Next you'll be telling me you are going to school in Davie, Florida!

Nick and I are sending apps to almost anyone who will take one, however we both want a good company.
I spoke to a local driver here in Miami, and he had a lot of good stuff to say about FFE. Sure the usual nonsense you'll get from every company, but I was impressed.
Yeah, we got another month to go, but time flies when you're having fun.
1st gear.....what 1st gear!

Hi Chris,
Talked to a recruiter today about FFE. I filed my application over the internet and they did not have record of it so I faxed to them immediately.
The recruiter called me back and told me that I should know by Tuesday, the latest Wednesday.
Hopefully, my buddy (Cesna_172) will sent his papers also and we both would get a reply at the same time.
Nuclear Nick

Hi Chris,
It sure did. As you know I faxed the info on Friday and Monday I received a call that I was approved. He told me that he was going to send a package in the mail and as soon as I graduate to give him a call so that I can fax him the certificate of completion of my course and at that time he will give me the info for my 2.5 days orientation (Dallas, TX). Is that where you are going to school? If so, and if I finally decide to go with them, maybe I get to see you there. I do not know if the school is in the same facility as where they do their orientation. So I guess I will have to wait to finish my course to find out the rest of the information. My Buddy, Cessna 172 and I are applying and doing our homework and comparing the companies, pro and cons. Of course we really won't know until we get our feet wet. One thing that has really impressed me about FFE is that you do not hear too much about them, which means a good thing. If it was bad news it will spread like wildfire, (such example like CR England and Prime). It seems that they have plenty of drivers that has been working for them for a long time (another good sign). I am willing to pay my dues for the first year or so and to find out and learn the trade as much as I can.
I will keep you posted. Thanks Again
