Question:
Well, after a year of self study and research, and 8 weeks of school, I finally achieved my goal. I passed my DMV road test and got my Class "A" CDL with all but "P" endorsement. Hopefully I'll be employed by Wednesday. Thanks to all the posters here that enlightened me to all the things that go with the job, and what to expect. I am truley thankfull, Will keep ya posted.

Stuffiu, Some would say I probably did not, I think I did, I spent the last year reading posts, talking to drivers and ex-drivers. I was preparing to transition from the military and had time to look into it. I feel I am as well prepared as one could get without actual expierience. I thank you and the rest for your advice and words of wisdom.
