I'm a 54 year old male with 4 months expierence as team driver in 1999 what would be my best bet as far as getting into the industry again. Central Pa Ken TIA

You should find a school that offers a refresher course and take that. Then start applying to training companies. With no more experience than you have and as long ago as it was you are going to be considered a newbie all over again. If you gave up your CDL you will need to attend a full course driving school.

That is what I'm doing. I drove for about 8 months from 11/99 to 06/00. I gave up my CDL last year (long story but nothing to be ashamed of ) I'm going back to school and to US Xpress. I can't wait to get back in. A lot of folks say bad things about this job but it sure is an adventure .
