I agree with choclit snda
I know people who get go with other plans becasue they supposedly cost less..
But eventually the end up with $300-$400 dollar cell bills because of fees that show up for all kinds of reasons..extra analog charges, fees for other phone company usage, etc., etc...
I have been using At&T digital one rate for almost 4 years..
It costs $149.00 a month, we have 1500 anytime minutes & pay an aditional $9.99 for 1000 night & weekend minutes..I end up paying about $185.00 a month and my husband can call me 3-5 times a day and we never ever go over the minutes or end up with other fees.
We have the highest minute plan available for our area, but they have plans starting at much less with the same services..
My freinds husband uses verizon and her bil is supposed to be $65.00 a month, but her bill is always over $250.00 a month..
Id go with AT&T digital one rate plan...

Answer:
SprintPCS
Hubby, myself and kids all have sprint phones.
We pay $100.00/month: It gives us 2000 anytime minutes (from 7am-9pm M-F), 1000 long distance minutes, Free nights and weekends (from 9pm-7am F-M), Sprint has the longest range (I have yet to ALWAYS connect to Mtns down south at all times.)
And because we all have sprint phones, we can call each other at anytime day or nigh at no charge.
Since I've been on this plan, All I pay is $100 plus tax. No surprises.

Answer:
See... with AT&T digital one rate you can call anyone anywhere in the country at anytime & do not have to worry about calling between certain times of the day & night..

Answer:
I just got a plan with Nextel for $60/month. It includes 400 anytime minutes, free incoming calls, free nights and weekends, no roaming, no long distance, free "Direct-connect" (walkie-talkie to other nextel customers, free voice mail and caller-id.
400 minutes/month doesn't sound like much but they really stretch a long way with the free-incoming call service. Most of my minutes are used up talking to my wife, but now I can just call her at home and say "call me right back" and we can talk for as long as we want for only a one minute charge. Of course, I had to make sure that my new cell number was a local call from my house.
The phone (GPS enabled) was $75.
