Glad you finally got through your problem at school and are on your way now. Best of luck to you.
Only two things I know of are infinite. The universe and human stupidity, and I am not real sure about the universe.

Be patient with your trainer. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Stay calm, cool and collected and you should have no problems.

My first name is Chris, but I go by Buzz. Got a few ink splotches on me as well, but they are under my sleeves. I'll have the shaved head and goatee. Plan on getting up to the hotel on Sunday. Probally wearing a HD shirt. Sarah told me that we pick who we drive with during phase 2 from the people we go to orientaion with. I live in Muncie IN, so Gary is a couple hours drive away. I am kind of hoping that I get hooked up with a trainer and co-driver during both phases of training that will not mind staying out to get it done. Really looking forward to getting assigned a tractor and getting this thing going. See ya at the hotel.

Answer:
Pretty good idea you have about 2nd phase. Keep an eye and ear open to those in your orientation, ie..do I want to go with this person for 20 or so days? How are they in orientation? Do they seem safety minded? Did they learn anything where they got their training? Also, not everyone will finish in the same amount of time coming out of phase 1! So you or your partner may have to wait on the other.
You'll also get skid pad training after phase 1, that was great! I liked the dry part of skid pad the best!
Again, good luck, and enjoy!
