crst- average week?
Question:
Can anyone tell me what an average week really is for CRST? recruiter says 6-7000 but is that a true average? thanks alot for input!

Answer:
But based on the typical recruiting game this is probably the high end of the over all averages for all teams CRST has running. Based on that I would honestly think a more realistic average would be closer to 5000-6000 miles per week. (and that is total miles per truck in team operation)
Only two things I know of are infinite. The universe and human stupidity, and I am not real sure about the universe.
Answer:
that's about what I thought. Thank you UTURN for your input! I start next week. Maybe I will see ya on the road someday!

Answer:
I would be a bit dubious. Their trucks are so slow you don't need a speedometer, you need a calendar.

Good Luck and welcombe to the world of trucking

Answer:
About a yr or so ago CRST, had an ad in the trking mags boasting Teams get 4,600 miles/wk.
I thought it was a TYPE-O so I called & pointed it out to them.(b/c 4,600 for a TEAM is NOTHING....especially, compared to what I was doing as a SOLO Drvr at the time.)
They told me that it was NOT a Type-O.
It took Everything in my power to keep from LAUGHING in his face.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't get me wrong...
I'm Not saying that 6,000-7,000miles/wk is impossible with CRST.....It's just NOT the "AVERAGE" for that company.
When I drove for CRST,(back in 1990-1993), my co-drvr & I were getting around 6,000-7,000 miles/wk.(at times)
***BUT...We Ran Our Buns Off...we did NOT do Much Sitting & we did NOT do a lot of Going Home, either.
...and looking back on it; I'm sure that our logging practices probably were not totally legal.(there was even a time or two that we almost ran out of hrs.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I've learned a LOT of Valuable Lessons since then.
I look back now & wonder How on earth I ever made it thru that period of my life/career.(all I can say is....ANGELS were Definately watching over me.)
