Answer:
I am glad he is doing ok with his trainer, but it ain't over yet and when he gets with another newbie thats when it may get interesting to say the least.I went through this same type of program with Swift and I would rather have been beaten down with ball bats than ever go through that again. If I could of gotten away with it I would have left my co-driver on the side of the road in BF,Egypt and smiled as I drove away.I did however learn a very valueable lesson as I will never again(if I can avoid it)let anyone other than myself in the truck I drive.Team driving?? I would,nt even consider it if it payed $5.00 a mile.I wish him luck during his next four weeks.

Answer:
I'm glad to hear things are going swell for Hubby.
If you haven't done so....you may want to check out TruckNet's Family Room(click here) and also give www.loads.org a look-see....those two forums has helped MANY spouses cope/adapt while "Other Half" is OTR.

Answer:
I did the 4x4 with Swift, and all I can say is that this WILL be a test for your hubby. I almost killed my co-driver a couple of times. He stole money from me, played MY XM radio so loud that i took it away from him, and worst of all, ran three 4 wheelers off the road cause he didn`t look at his right side mirrors. Come to find out he flunked Swifts road test, but they were so hard up for drivers that they sent him with me anyway. Tell hubby if it doesn`t work out, to get in touch with his Driver manager and request a change. he may have to wait in a terminal for a few days for someone to be free, but it`s better than being with the driver from HELL.

Answer:
How about a co-driver that makes u-turns over concrete medians between light poles, hits the shoulder of the interstate at 60mph under a 45,000 lb.load just because he decides it's time to take a nature break, tears the tandems out from underneath a trailer by running over a light pole and the concrete base its attached to in a service plaza in Mass. in the middle of winter, takes me on a 600 mile tour of Ohio because he can't follow directions and does'nt know the difference between Cincinatti and Columbus and has no idea how to read a map, still wets the bed and when he is upright can't hit the jug and soaks the privacy curtain and the floor with urine, throws snack trash and pee jugs out of the window of a moving truck at 60 mph,too many other things to list and by the way Wes if your still out there-----well I had better not say here what I would like to do to you if given the chance. And they wonder why I won't ever consider team driving!!!!The burglars in "Home Alone" had a picnic compaired to what I lived through for four weeks.I wish someone would have broken both my kneecaps.

Answer:
Ya got me beat, but my co-driver would save up his p-jugs and want to empty them,NOT THROW, out the window at 60mph. He also couldn`t read a map and woke me up for my turn to drive at the same place we left from cause he drove 4 hours out of route, and then 4 hours back to where we started. Along with that, he would dine and dash when we ate at a resterant and had seperate bills, and would stea l Gatorade at truckstops so he could have p-bottles. And on top of that he weighed375 lbs, and we couldn`t be in the same spot at the same times....SHEEESE
