Another sad story...
Question:
Last week, I was driving by the house, so I thought I would drop in on my wife. When we parted company on Wednesday morning to make the trip to Rapid city, it was very hard to leave her. I felt that something just wasn't right. I called home on Thursday, and was informed that my wife had had a stroke Thursday afternoon. she needed me home to be with her for some tests the hospital wanted to run on her. I called my dispatch, and informed them, that since I had already been paid for the truck I was delivering to Dallas, that I would deliver the truck, then will need to go home. Their response was "Lets hope we have a truck going that way". I hope I misunderstood, but considereing I had to go to a Church in Denton, Tx., to get the money needed to go home, they weren't too sympathetic to my problem. Now I am praying I find a local job here in town, as my wife now needs me home every night. This episode scared here very much, and she is afraid to be alone. She is fine now so far, but still has more tests. God Bless you all Due to the hoopla over multi-names and such I have decided to reveal my real name here, to prove I am real." John Wayne Drysdale Answer: Glad you made it home and she is doing OK You and wife are in my prayers Answer: Sorry to hear about your wife, but glad she's doing better. Were you working for McNeilus? If you were, that's how they are. A bunch of self centered jerks! A long time ago, a friend of mine was delivering a cement truck to someplace in TX. A lady pulled out right in front of him. There was nothing he could do and he hit her car. She died in a firey blaze when her car went up. McNeilus left my friend out to dry. Note even an offer for legal help or anything. If you were working for them, you're better off finding something else. Good Luck and hope your wife recovers 100%. ******************************* "I've always been crazy, but it's kept me from going insane!"
